Shop Policies & Refund Policy

Thank you so much for supporting our small business! Every single item here is printed and pressed by hand using professional sublimation techniques. Because handmade items and custom orders require distinct care and production, please review our return and refund policies below before making a purchase.

1. Ready-to-Ship (Standard) Items

We want you to love your purchase! If you bought an item featuring one of our standard, non-personalized designs (such as our ready-to-ship stock collections), you are welcome to return it.

Return Window: Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to request a return. Items must be shipped back to us within 14 days of delivery.

Condition: To qualify for a refund, items must be completely unused, unaltered, and in their original packaging.

Shipping Costs: Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Refund Processing: Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.

2. Custom and Personalized Orders

Custom orders include any items featuring your personal photos, specific names, custom text, or designs made specifically at your request.

Policy: All custom and personalized items are final sale. * Why? Because these pieces are permanently infused with your unique details, they cannot be resold.

Cancellations: We offer a 4-hour grace period after purchase if you need to cancel your custom order. Because we dive quickly into designing and prepping your items, cancellations requested after 4 hours cannot be honored.

3. Damaged, Lost, or "Ghosted" Packages

We take immense pride in wrapping your custom goodies securely so they survive the journey. However, once your package is handed over to the postal carrier, it is officially out of our hands (and out of our control).

Postal Mishaps: Intentional Detail Co is not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged in transit by the shipping carrier.

Arrived Broken?: If your item arrives damaged due to rough transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damaged item and the packaging. While we are not legally responsible for carrier errors, we want you to love your items and will work with you on a case-by-case basis to help file a claim or arrange a replacement.

Wrong Address: Please double-check your shipping address at checkout! We are not responsible for packages delivered to the wrong address because of a typo on your order form.

4. Shop Errors & Limitation of Liability 

Color & Design Variations: Due to differences in monitor settings, screens, and the unique nature of sublimation and custom printing, actual product colors and placement may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. These minor variations are not considered shop errors or defects.

Maximum Liability: In the rare event that a genuine shop error occurs (such as a blatant typo made by us on a personalized item), our liability is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the item or a direct replacement. Intentional Detail Co is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products.

5. Processing & Production Time

Since every item is custom-made to order, please allow 3-5 business days for production before your order ships. During peak holiday seasons, production times may extend to 6-7 business days.

Note: "Business days" refers to Monday through Friday and excludes holidays.
